Description
iParts by AIS is a feature rich mobile application designed to assist maintenance and manufacturing facilities, repair shops, or any parts supplier to streamline the parts identification, re-stock / supply and procurement processes.
Features
• Customer Profile Storage - allows user to store their profile data to be used by the various tools offered in the application.
• Request Quote - simple form to request a quotation on any item(s).
• Purchase - simple purchase order form for parts procurement.
• Scan / Re-Stock - quick and easy restock tool utilizing your mobile device integrated camera to scan the part number barcode and transmit the restock order for procurement. Should you require any barcode labels to utilize this feature, please contact AIS.
• Identify Part - tool to allow user to select and modify / resize, if necessary, an image of a part to assist in item identification.
Profile View: Request for Quote View:   Scan / Re-Stock View:
  • Home page of the application.
  • This view allows access to all of your tools
  • Enter your profile information in the appropriate text boxes.
  • Your data is automatically saved upon exiting the text fields and can now be utilized by the various tools.
  • From this view you can request a quote on any part number by typing in the part number, quantity, description, and clicking "Submit".
  • After clicking "Submit" your default email client will launch with the RFQ data included in the body of the email.
  • With-in the email view, you are free to make any changes to the email as you would like, otherwise click "Send".
  • Clicking "Reset All" will clear all of the fields on this page.
  • Clicking "Back" will take you to the profile view.
  • From this view you can scan a barcode by clicking "Scan".
  • A view of your camera will open; aim your camera view at the bar code.
  • As soon as the camera recognizes a barcode on screen it will frame and identify the barcode, taking you back to the Scan / Re-Stock view. If the camera view does not frame the barcode with-in 5 seconds, gently shake your iPhone to refocus the camera to the barcode. Once you have been brought back to the primary scan view, the large text box will show you the translated barcode.
  • After clicking "Submit" your default email client will launch with the translated barcode data included in the body of the email.
  • With-in the email view, you are free to make any changes to the email you would like, otherwise click "Send".
  • Clicking "Reset" will clear any barcode you have scanned.
  • Clicking "Back" on this page will take you to the profile screen.
Identify Part View: Purchase Order View:   Contact Us View:
  • Press "Select Image" to browse and select an image for identification from your photo albums.
  • The interface will allow you to move and scale the image after selecting an image.
  • After the image is chosen, you will be taken to the identify part screen again, where you can click "Submit".
  • After clicking submit your default email client will launch with the image attached.
  • With-in the email view, you are free to make any changes to the email you would like, otherwise click "Send".
  • Clicking "Reset All" will clear any image that you have selected.
  • Clicking "Back" on this page will take you to the profile view.
  • This feature allows you to create a purchase order.
  • After filling in the required fields you can click "Submit".
  • After clicking submit your default email client will launch with the PO data included in the body of the email.
  • With-in the email view, you are free to make any changes to the email you would like, otherwise click "send".
  • Clicking "Reset All" will clear all of the fields on this page.
  • Clicking back on this page will take you to the profile view.
  • This screen displays our location, operating hours, and contact information.
  • You can call the local number by clicking the "Local" button, or the Toll Free number by clicking "Toll Free".
  • Clicking the "Email Us" button will launch your default email client with a new email addressed to us.
  • With-in the email view, you are free to make any changes to the email you would like, otherwise click "send".
  • Clicking back on this page will take you to the profile screen.
